چکیده
A social network (SN) 1 is defined as a tuple , where: V – is a not-empty set of actors representing social entities: humans, organizations, departments etc., called also vertices, nodes, vertexes, members, cases, agents, instances or points; E – is a set of directed edges (relations between actors called also arcs, connections, or ties) where a single edge is represented by a tuple , x,yεV, x≠y and for two edges and if ≠ and x=x’ then y≠y’. Note that ≠ because we consider here directed social networks. Since social networks usually represent one kind of relationships they are also called singlelayered social network SSN [Magnani 11].

Extraction of Multilayered Social Networks from Activity Data
The data gathered in all kinds of web-based systems, which enable users to interact with each other, provides an opportunity to extract social networks that consist of people and relationships between them. The emerging structures are very complex due to the number and type of discovered connections. In web-based systems, the characteristic element of each interaction between users is that ther...

Since the 1980s, the rapid development of computer and information engineering technology represented by the Inter-net makes the human society stride into the " network era. " From the Internet to the World Wide Web, from the power grid to the transportation network, from the organism's brain neural networks to the metabolic network, and from research cooperation network to a variety of politic...
متن کاملMultilayered Semantic Social Network Modeling by Ontology-Based User Profiles Clustering: Application to Collaborative Filtering
We propose a multilayered semantic social network model that offers different views of common interests underlying a community of people. The applicability of the proposed model to a collaborative filtering system is empirically studied. Starting from a number of ontology-based user profiles and taking into account their common preferences, we automatically cluster the domain concept space. Wit...

The ever-increasing capacity of biological molecular data acquisition outpaces our ability to understand the meaningful relationships between molecules in a cell. Multiple databases were developed to store and organize these molecular data. However, emerging fundamental questions about concerted functions of these molecules in hierarchical cellular networks are poorly addressed. Here we review ...
